Half-Closed Eyes

HEyes half open, half closed — like a smile, or like dozing off. The cat is saying “I'm so comfortable I can't bother to fully open my eyes.” Common during petting, sunbathing, or curling up on a warm blanket. alf-closed eyes often appear with slow blinking, both signaling trust and contentment. Some cats enter this blissful state during head scratches and start purring.
